Officially overwhelmed
Every day for the last month or so I’ve had the same problem. I think I’m just “waking up,” but really I’m sitting on the internet browsing and answering email and giggling at jokes when I should be writing and exercising and planning my day. At the same time, my youngest is throwing her cereal on the floor for fun, resulting in her being hungry/needy and the dog being fat.
As a result, I feel like there’s room for improvement here. (When I type “room for improvement,” you should read “stress.”)
Now starts the decompressing process. Yes, there is a process, otherwise there would be blood all over the fresh paint.
- Pick one project and finish it
- Pick the next and finish it
- Take less time out for socialization, socializing can be a reward for work done
- Stop feeding the dogs cereal
- Pick the next project and finish it
- Pick the next and finish it
- Get up and check the calendar and do what it says to do and do not get on the internet for “waking up” until later in the day when the work is done.
This is my goal for the month of August! I can do it! You wanna do it with me?
World domination, commencing in 5…4…3…
