Another wacky Writer Wednesday
Dooooods!
I might just do Author Fight Club forever. We’ve sure been having fun with it.
Last week I declared Jessica McHugh the winner for her take on a hypothetical Gaiman/Tolkien bout. That means this week’s match-up is her call, and she’s chosen…
Homegrown Louisville boy Hunter S. Thompson vs. the one and only Dorothy Parker!

How you play: In the comments to this post (or on FB/twitter/elsewhere if you truly must), leave me an argument for who would take down whom. It can be based on physical prowess a la Fight Club, or on whatever writerly/mystical/fictional powers you ascribe to each respective author. Heck, I don’t even mind if you draw a photo or take a crayon picture. Wait. Reverse that. OR NOT. Hell, it’s Hunter S. Thompson & Dorothy Parker. I might SMELL the winner this time, you never know. One thing’s for sure—with Parker in the ring, I smell blood, already.
But do weigh in, please! I’ll look forward to reading your answers.
In other #WW fun:
I’m on Claudia Lefeve’s blog today, too, just in case you thought for some incredible reason that I had nothing to say. (ha ha ha ha ha) Go visit. And then she’s on Spellbound Scribes, as well. (Click click click!)
