So what brings up this topic? Why, it’s Day Three of my Troll Or Derby blog tour, and Mercedes Yardley and I get to talking about being a quirky girl. Turns out she and I have that trait in common. In derby, we call our dressing up putting on our “derby drag.” You really do feel like a bit of a drag queen with the fake lashes and the fishnets and outrageous shoes. It’s fun. Your neighbors might not understand it, but it’s a hoot—and once you’ve gone derby, you’ll never go back, that’s for sure.
